Connaissance Finals: Round 3

The third round had a format similar to the first round- 12 questions with pounce/bounce. This round too was a gen-ish round with a little inclination towards pop culture. The last round saw team D challenge the top three teams as they amassed 45 points -joint highest in that round along with Team B. After a nail biting battle of wits with a lot of twists and turns, it was team B that came on top, winning the quiz by a meagre 15 points. The teams that came second and third were separated by only 5 points.
At the end of the three rounds the results were as follows:
First position: Gourav Jena [CBS] and Ashish Singh (Ramjas College] (Team B)
Second position: Gokul S. [ARSD] and Akash Verma [DSE] (Team C)
Third position: Aditya Singh [CLC]and Apratim Chandra Singh [Ashoka University] (Team F)
Fourth position: Manas Dimri [IIFT] and Nikhil George [IIFT] (Team D)
Fifth Position: Mukund Maroria [IGNOU]and Mayukh Nair [Ashoka University] (Team E)
Sixth Position: Basab Dahal [Ramjas College] Amlan Sarkar [Ramjas College] (Team A)
The Answers for the final round are as follows :-

However, because of differential pricing nobody went home empty handed and each finalist team took home a piece of the pie according to their relative performances. The quiz was appreciated by all the participants with respect to the level of questions, the way it was conducted and the prize distribution method.
