Connaissance Finals: Round 1

After a grueling prelims, 6 finalists (teams A, B, C, D, E, F) were all set to battle it out on stage for the top prize over 3 Rounds. The finalists were here introduced to a differential scoring rule for the prizes, pitched by our president that helps the outstanding teams gain an edge over the others. The first round had questions from the fields of literary, sports and entertainment, internet trivia and fashion with fundae testing the participants' ability to think logically at the test of the buzzer. The first round set the trend for what ultimately become a two way fight for the top spot between teams B and C.
The Answers for Round 1 of the Finals are as follows :-

In Wine Tasting, most of the wine is spit out in a barrel to avoid drunkenness. Peter Bignell decided to refurbish this wine and sell it under his brand.
